About

In June of 2017, the City of Seattle sent out a call for artists, searching for an artist or team to create a graphic novel centered around the Georgetown Steam Plant, a National Historic Landmark.

Mairead Case and David Lasky (that’s us) applied, became finalists, and have been selected to create the graphic novel.

In the fall of 2017, we will begin to do research for the project. In this blog, we will be sharing the progress of our research and, later on, detailing the step-by-step process of creating a graphic novel. Watch this page for updates – or subscribe and never miss an entry.
